Delete your Doodle Match account

Last updated: 28 August 2026

You only have an account if you have published a deck to Explore. If you have only ever drawn and played, there is nothing to delete — the app never created an account for you, and your decks are on your device alone.

In the app

  1. Open Explore from the home screen.
  2. Tap the person icon in the header to open Account. If you are signed out, sign in first with the same account you published with.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email pailinglo@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We will confirm once it is done, normally within a few days.

What deletion does

Your account and the sign-in identity behind it are deleted, and every deck you have published is taken down from Explore.

Two things do not go away, and we would rather say so plainly than let you find out later:

  1. Copies of your decks that other players already saved stay on their devices. We have no way to reach into someone else's phone.
  2. We keep the record that a set of drawings was first published at a given time — the drawing data, a timestamp, and an account reference that no longer belongs to a usable account. That record exists so authorship disputes can be settled, and keeping it is what stops someone else re-publishing your drawings as their own after you leave.

Decks stored on your own device are removed by deleting the app.
